Had a very relaxing couple of weeks back home in mid-January for my Dad’s 60th.Lay by the fire, watched DVDs, ate, drank, went for the occasional walk down by the river or by the sea. And that was about it. Got about 6 hours in London before flew out so long enough for a $250 album/DVD splurge…
Some photos.

Tate Modern. Featuring the highly educational super happy fun slide…

Close down the best boozer in Soho, ‘cos London needs more offices and flats…

Over jet-lag and straight back into photographing stuff after being away for the BDO and all the Brisbane sideshows. Hopefully someone will give me Splendour, V and other assorted festivals and big shows to make up for it…
Will get around to posting some photos from my two weeks back in the UK but in the meantime here’s some photos of Expatriate, Operator Please and wind&brackets from Saturday night at The Globe. The Globe is now probably my fave place to photo in Brisbane. The lighting is great, you can get some great colours happening and the red light is strong enough to get some really nice b+w contrast.
