Noel Gallagher was in town last Tuesday as part of his whirlwind semi-acoustic tour. The deal was supposed to be three songs and escorted out the venue (although by the time we were escorted to the pit he was already half way through the first song…).
I was packing up afterwards and watching him play ‘Cast No Shadow’, which is one of my favourite Oasis songs, when the woman from Sony came by and started chatting. Was expecting to be chucked out but she said I was more than welcome to stay. Nice people working for Sony shock…
The show did make me feel a bit sad though. Although not a big fan at all – to me, both Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory have a handful of really good songs but are still about 50% filler – it did make me reminisce for days and people gone by. He only played for about an hour so was glad I didn’t pay $70 for it.  Photos aren’t anything special. I had a really strong idea of what I wanted to capture but he really hunches over his microphone and so you never get the catchlights in his eyes I wanted to get. Although that might be caused by the eyebrows…
