This Is Not A Photo Opportunity is Ten

It feels a bit awkward to be celebrating a whole decade of blogging today when it’s been so long since I actually posted anything up. I’ve only published 17 new posts since this time last year, a number of which were from travels to Western Australia and nothing to do with music, and the last time I published anything was back at the start of September. Collapse Board keeps taking an inordinate amount of time to look after that this place keeps getting neglected. It’s not forgotten about or been given up on though.
The good news is that eight posts from 2015 are written and ready to post up, with a further four just needing a little bit of tidying up and finishing up. A lot of the others have extensive notes which hopefully will make writing them up easier, and with the bonus that I actually have something to say.
In recent years I been sufficiently behind to make posting up the list of shows attended for the year worthwhile. 2015 ended up being a pretty successful year with 39 shows/festivals, less than the 52 that’s planned at the start of each year, but still a pleasing return. It did benefit from a crazy end to the year, thanks to all those Meredith sideshows, with nine shows in nine days to help bump up the total, but every little helps. It’s times like those that make me miss photographing for Rave.
So, these are the posts that will start to be posted up in the very near future.

Work (proper work) recently decided to start a new series for their newsletter, where they do a feature on staff who do interesting things outside of work. So obviously the first person they came to talk to was me. The feature image at the top of the page is the published article, now posted all around our office.
Some ‘ten’ related songs to celebrate:
